Singer Yemi Alade has been
nominated in the International act:Africa,
category on the BET Awards holding in the
United States.
The singer and her fellow compatriot and
award wining pop star Wizkid will be flying the
Nigerian flag under the category.
Other nominees include, Aka (South Africa)
Fally Ipupa (Dr Congo) Sarkodie (Ghana) Sauti
Sol (Kenya) Stonebwoy (Ghana) and The Soil
(South Africa).
The most notable omission is last year’s
winner Davido who, some may say, has
remained consistent with hits in recent months
albeit not as dominating as the year before.
