Jason Derulo is kicking off 2016 on a happy note!
After exclusive confirmation that the singer was dating Daphne Joy , the couple just so happened to ring in the New Year together near Miami. So, did the two have a good time?
"I'm just enjoying life," Jason said before taking the stage at the 2016 People's Choice Awards Wednesday night. "I don't want to talk too much about it, but I'm definitely enjoying life right now."
The pictures on Instagram certainly echoed that sentiment. Over the weekend, the singer shared a couple's shot with the caption, "Happy New Years from South Beach #BaeWatch #NoTypo @DaphneJoy." His girl added , "#BaeWatch with my baby."
While fans may love the pair together, their eyes also likely don't mind the 26-year-old's impressive abs. Whether on vacation or teasing his new single "Naked," Jason can't help but show off his figure. So what's his secret? A lot of hard work!
"It's all about taking in calories for fuel and not pleasure. I like to enjoy myself but I think of food more as fuel than a party," he explained. "For the most part, I've stopped dieting and it's more about a lifestyle."
He continued, "It's all about a balance lifestyle but I do eat a high protein, very low-carb. Very rarely will I have a piece of bread. I also work out three times a day sometimes."
Perhaps those abs will be on display when the singer takes to the stage for Wednesday's star-studded award show. Jason along with Shawn Mendes are scheduled to perform at the annual telecast where the winners are picked by the people at home.
"I'm doing a mashup with ‘Get Ugly' and ‘Want to Want Me,'" he teased. "From a performance perspective, you can expect a lot of energy, tons of dancing. I'm really going to push the envelope dance wise. It's definitely a lost art."

This obviously didn't go well with Olamide and he made his feelings known when he climbed the stage with the whole YBNL team, when his artist Adekunle Gold won the award for Best Alternative act for his song, Shade.
While expressing his appreciation, LilKesh prostrated before Olamide who then took the mic and said; "This award belongs to Lil Kesh. Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that shit! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back. From lyrically to Shoki to Efejoku. Ko ni dafun Iya anybody", he then threw the mic down and they all walked off the stage.
After Olamide's speech, Don Jazzy won The lifetime Achievement Award & while taking his award, he addressed Olamide's rant on stage. He said "Egbon Olamide, if you want the car, come and take it." (Next Rated win comes with a car).
