The Real Housewives of New York City is
celebrating its 100th episode by counting
down the Top 10 moments over the seven
seasons and calling them iconic is an
understatement. And yes, the show is 100
episodes old, but it doesn't look a day over
episode 10.
Over the course of the last seven years, the
ladies of NYC-- Bethenny Frankel, Ramona
Singer, Countess Luann de Lesspes, Jill Zarin,
Kelly Bensimon, Carole Radziwill, Aviva
Drescher, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson,
Kristen Taekman, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop
and Dorinda Medley--have cried, screamed,
Turtle Timed and laughed for our
entertainment. Take a look back at some of the
crazy/hilarious/shocking/WTF moments
below that are sure to trigger fond memories
for the audience...but maybe some PTSD for

"I'm lucky to have found some great friends
from the show and I wake up every morning
expecting the unexpected, which I'm not sure
many people can say," Kristen shared. "The
biggest lesson I've learned is that at the end of
the day, know when to walk away."
"I'm so excited to be a part of the 100th
episode of The Real Housewives of New York
City and WOW is it a rollercoaster!! The Turks
& Caicos trip is heating up so grab a beach
chair and come along for the ride!" Dorinda
said.
"Happy 100th Episode, RHONY! My time on
the show has been a wild ride!! Along the way,
I have had lots of laughs, some arguments, too
many cocktails and seen some outrageously
ridiculous behavior," Heather shared. "I might
have dropped a few too many F-bombs too,
but then again I am a New Yorker after all! The
best part of the show for me is my true bond
and dear friendship with Radz and of course,
all of the support I've received from the fans of

Taylor Swift's album 1989 is officially coming
to Apple Music!
After persuading Apple to pay artists and
record labels for streaming their music during
the 90-day free trial period, the 25-year-old
"Shake It Off" singer announced earlier today
that she will allow Apple Music to stream her
hugely successful album.
"After the events of this week, I've decided to
put 1989 on Apple Music...and happily so,"
the Grammy winner tweeted Thursday before
adding, "This is simply the first time it's felt
right in my gut to stream my album. Thank
you, Apple, for your change of heart."
The pop star also clarified, "In case you're
wondering if this is some exclusive deal like
you've seen Apple do with other artists, it's
not."

Apple's senior vice president of Internet
services and software Eddy Cue announced
earlier this week that the company will pay
artists. "We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie
artists. Love, Apple," Cue tweeted in response
to Swift's lengthy letter convincing Apple
Music to pay artists.He added in a magazing
interview, "When I woke up this morning and
saw what Taylor had written, it really solidified
that we needed to make a change. And so
that's why we decide we will now pay artists
during the trial period."
Swift responded with, "I am elated and
relieved. Thank you for your words of support
today. They listened to us."
Swift also got a shout-out from boyfriend
Calvin Harris over the victory. "I just played a

Who Will Be The Next Bachelor: Josh Murray, Chris Soules Or One Of Kaitlyn's Men?

running, and Harrison seems confident that
their next Bachelor is currently still on the
show. "Just off the top of my head I can think
of four guys," Harrison says. "Those guys are
still on the show, so it's not hard to figure out
who we're interested in."
And Harrison says he and The Bachelor team
definitely take viewers' opinions, especially
from social media, into consideration when
making their decision. "I see people
responding to them. You take a little bit of a
Litmus test off of social media," he explains.
"So who are they talking about? There's a
pretty good wide spectrum of men they're
mentioning, so I think we have some good
guys."

makeup during this holy month is not to

Your face
Exfoliate your face twice a week, Bharti Vyas
suggests her gentle facial exfoliator recipe:
2 heaped teaspoons fine oatmeal
2 teaspoons double cream
Mix ingredients and apply to your skin, gently

light circular movements, then rinse off with
water. For a deep cleansing and radiance
boost, fill a bowl with boiling water and add
the juice of half a lemon and a dash of
rosewater. For a lovely treat add rose petals.
Hold your face about 20-30 cm above the
bowl and place a towel over your head to trap
vapours. Steam your face for three minutes.
This technique will help open pores and is a
great cleanser for your skin leaving it radiant
and soft.
Your eyes
Treat your eyes by soaking two cotton wool
pads in cold camomile tea, leave on for 10
min and relax, it has a cooling and soothing
effect.
Your body and feet
Make your own body scrub by mixing a
handful of oatmeal and bran with rose water.
Use a loofah and massage into damp skin,
moving in small circular motions, this
improves circulation for a healthier body.  By
exfoliating at least twice a week your skin will
look smoother and will have a healthy glow.
For a special foot treat, soak your feet in a
bowl of luke warm water; add a few drops of
peppermint, chamomile and lavender
essential oils. A foot pamper helps relax your
mind, it’s one of the most loved beauty
indulgence.
Your lips
By not wearing lipstick, lipgloss or lipbalm
during the Ramadaan, your lips feel dry and
might even be chapping.  At night try and
slick on a coat of Vaseline or lipbalm to keep
your lips hydrated.
General tips
To maintain a healthy skin, try and drink at
least two litres of water each day, I know this
is sometimes not possible during Ramadaan
but try to drink at least two glasses in the
morning and two glasses at night. A cup of
boiling water and a few drops of lemon juice
can flush out any impurities that may have
built up in your system overnight.
During the fast you might not have much
time to prepare a well-balanced and
nutritious meal, have a look at your local
pharmacy to find the best natural source of
vitamins and minerals for your daily intake.
Having a banana and apple at suhoor/ sehri
is a rich source of potassium, an essential
mineral that helps balance your body‘s PH
and body fluids, it also help maintain your
normal blood pressure.

grateful just to be pregnant, and we would be

weight," she initially captioned the shot,
adding (and later deleting), "There I said it so u
don't have to."
Kylie's in shape and always looks great--
Bible. That said, it's easy to see how
anonymous meanies and their verbal attacks
could take a toll on one's self-esteem. Last
week Kylie touched on this topic in a Snapchat
confessional,  saying she's been bullied since
age 9, "from the whole world, it feels like

President Buhari To Visit Cameroon After Ramadan

Nigeria's President Muhammadu
Buhari has accepted an invitation to travel to
Cameroon for talks on regional cooperation
to defeat Boko Haram Islamist extremists, his
office said on Tuesday.
Cameroon's President Paul Biya was a
noticeable absentee at a recent summit of
regional leaders in Abuja to cement a new
fighting force to take on the insurgents.
Observers attributed his absence to strained
ties between the two neighbours, who
squabbled for decades over the sovereignty
of the oil-rich Bakassi peninsula until it was
ceded to Cameroon.
Buhari last week told AFP in an interview that
he was planning to visit Cameroon. On
Tuesday he accepted an invitation from Biya
delivered by one of his ministers, Buhari's
office said in a statement.
"President Buhari said that he will visit
Cameroon for the high-level talks soon after
the end of the Ramadan fast," the statement
read.
Buhari, 72, has made eradicating Boko
Haram a priority for his fledgling
administration, which has been in power for
less than a month.
Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon and Benin
have all agreed that a new 8,700-strong
force should be deployed by July 30 to take
on the Islamists.
The Nigerian government under Buhari's
predecessor Goodluck Jonathan frequently
complained about Boko Haram using
northern Cameroon as a base to attack
northeast Nigeria.
Biya's envoy, Sadi Rene Emmanuel, told
Buhari of Cameroon's "fraternity, sympathy
and brotherly commitment" to working with
Nigeria to "eradicate the scourge of
terrorism", Buhari's office said.

Man Sets 8-year Old Ablaze Over Witchcraft

A 60-year-old man in Barakin- Ladi Local
Government Area of Plateau State has been
arrested for setting an eight-year-old girl
ablaze on suspicion of being a witch and
for being behind series of incidents within
the locality.on Tuesday at about 10:34 a.m.
when most people had gone to their various
places of work.
The suspect, identified as Yakubu Vong, was
said to have asked the girl to a house where
he doused her with petrol and set her
ablaze.
It was gathered that the man, after setting
the girl ablaze, locked the room in the
building. The cry of the girl attracted
passers bye who forced the door open and
rushed her to a hospital. She was said to
have died before reaching the hospital.
The Police Public Relations officer, Plateau
State command, Emmanuel Abu, who
confirmed the incident, said the man had
been arrested and investigations into the
matter had commenced.

Man Rapes His 2 Daughters,Gets 1 Pregnant & Infects Both With HIV

A 60 year old rapist and paedophile has
admitted to raping his two step-daughters and deliberately infecting them with HIV. He
originally denied the accusations but is now
awaiting sentence after changing his plea to
guilty on the second day of his trial this week.
He has since developed full-blown AIDS.
One of the girls was about 11 when she
contracted the potentially deadly virus. Her
sister was 14.
Now one of the girls, now 22, tells how she
only found she had been infected during a
routine antenatal blood test when
she got pregnant by her boyfriend. She said
that moment of happiness turned
to devastation when she found out. She knew
immediately she had to try to save her
younger sister, still only 12, from the same
fate.
But tests after her sister was removed from the
family home by social services showed that
she, too, had been infected.
Shockingly, their mother stood by the man as
he accused the girls of lying.
The daughter’s only relief has been that her
diagnosis was early enough in her pregnancy
for drugs to prevent the HIV being passed on in
the womb, meaning her son was born free of
the virus.

"Mum came home one day in 2006
when I was 11 with a new man and our
world changed forever. Within a couple
of weeks he’d moved in with us and
within a couple of months he was
abusing me. My own dad had left when
I was a baby and I never knew him.
The dads of my younger sister and
brother had both done the same, so we
were always a single parent family.
Now we suddenly had a stepdad I
thought we’d be a real family.
At first I was right, and the new man
treated me how I always thought I
wanted to be treated. I was the eldest
and I was used to the younger ones
getting all of mum’s attention. But my
stepdad bought me a new phone and
clothes and gave me cash.
Then one day when I was 12, mum was
in the kitchen doing tea when he told
me to sit next to him on the sofa and
suddenly kissed me. I was shocked
and told him to stop but it only spurred
him on. That was the start.
I’d been in the bath one night a few
weeks later and he knew I’d be getting
ready for bed so he came into my
room. I tried to tell him to leave but he
forced me down on to the bed and
ripped my towel away before raping
me. I had no choice. I was terrified.
After that, he made excuses for me to
sleep in his bed with him every night
and told mum to sleep with my little
sister in case she had nightmares. He
bought me a ring which he told me to
wear like an engagement ring as if I
was his fiancée, not his child.
Then one month I started getting bad
stomach pains I was 13 and pregnant.
He said I’d been sleeping around at
school and made me have a secret
abortion, then took the scan pictures
from me.
Neighbours and family members
suspected something was going on but
my mum never believed it. Maybe if
someone had listened it wouldn’t have
happened to my little sister as well.
When the police and social services
came to the house, I wanted to tell
them what was happening but they
only ever interviewed me in front of him
and I was too scared to say. Now I
wish I had.
When I fell pregnant with my partner’s
baby I was happy at last but when the
midwife said I was HIV positive my
world fell apart. The abuse had stayed
a secret for so long. In that moment
everything came back to punch me in
the stomach. I felt disgusting, dirty and
inhuman.
I knew instantly I’d got it from him
because just two weeks earlier he’d
been rushed to an AIDS unit in London.
I remembered thinking I didn’t care if he
died now I’m facing my own life
sentence. I wasn’t just sickened by the
things he’d done, but also by myself for
being infected with this virus. I knew
now it would all come out and it was a
mixture of fear and relief.
I told my boyfriend to leave me and for
his family to leave me alone. I felt
sickened and disgusted by myself so I
imagined they felt the same. But
amazingly they said they still loved me
and have stuck by me.
Now my mum’s partner has admitted
what he did we can move on. But I take
each day at a time and try not to think
about what the future holds.
I always hoped and prayed he hadn’t
got to my little sister, but once I knew
what he’d done to my future I had to
get her away from him. I couldn’t let
him ruin my baby sister’s life like he
had my own. I knew in that moment I
had to make the police and social
services believe what he had done.
When I heard her test results I filled
with a rage like I’ve never felt. I was
screaming and shouting, my boyfriend
and his mum had to hold me down, I
was just inconsolable. Who can rape a
child and ruin their entire future by
giving them one of the most dreaded
diseases in the world?
He’d already given us both a life
sentence mentally because we can
never forget what he did but now he
has given us a physical life sentence
too.
At the moment my sister is too young
to understand what she has or why she
has it – she just knows she has “funny
blood” but it’s only a matter of time.
When the time comes I’m the only other
person in the world who will understand
how she feels.
Police had to keep us apart when he
was arrested to make sure we didn’t
talk to each other to match up our
stories.
When he changed his plea to guilty, I
was relieved not just because of the
result but because it meant I could see
her again. Now all this is over I’m going
to be there for her until the end.
When the abuse first started I didn’t tell
my mum because I wanted to protect
her. I thought if she knew she would
blame me, or it would cause the family
to break up and she would be sad.
But she took me to bingo one night
when I was 18 and as we were getting
on the bus suddenly I was really
conscious we’d left my little sister
alone with him so I told mum
everything. I told her I was worried he
would do it again. She said I was
making it up.It felt like the biggest
betrayal. I had plucked up the courage
but she was choosing him over me.
I don’t have anything to do with my
mum any more. We don’t live far away
from each other so we still see each
other at family events but I can’t
forgive her for not believing me. I have
my partner’s mum now, who is more of
a mother to me. My sister has been
taken into care so she has foster
parents now."
When the CPS discussed charges, they
wanted to get him for giving us HIV but
that falls under the bracket of GBH.
Rape carries a greater punishment so
they went for that instead – but I think
he should have got manslaughter.
He has put lives at risk for his own sick
pleasure. He should never get out.
I’d tried so hard to put the rape and
abuse behind me so that I could start
my own family and have a chance at
happiness. But now he has me right
where he wanted me – with a life-long
reminder of what he did to me.
All I wanted was to bond with my son
and have the kind of family I’d missed
out on because of the abuse and
neglect.
But from day one, it was impossible. I
had to have a Caesarean so I didn’t
pass it on to him during the birth, then I
wasn’t allowed to breastfeed.
From day one I was terrified of cutting
myself or having even a little scratch
and going near him in case I made him
ill.
As he’s grown older it’s become even
more heartbreaking. I see him take a
tumble and graze his knee and my
maternal instinct tells me to go straight
to him and kiss it better – but I can’t.
I have to put on rubber gloves or let my
partner or someone else go to him.
He is too young to understand so he
just thinks I’m not going to help him.
All of this is because of that man.
I live day to day and I always believe
that if and when I get ill from the virus I
will take it as it comes.
I’m grateful every day that I fell ­
pregnant because the blood test ­
probably saved me from getting much
more ill.
I’m on medication so things are under
control for now – and most importantly
my son is happy and healthy.
He hasn’t got to my boy and now he
never will.
The judge at Canterbury Crown Court warned
him to expect an indeterminate sentence after
he confessed to a string of crimes ranging
from rape of a child under 13 to sexual assault

Nigeria Starts Investigating Crude Oil Swap Contracts

Authorities have launched an
investigation to determine whether the
government has been short-changed by a
state oil company scheme to swap crude for
refined products, the company, three oil
traders and a security source said.
The government may be losing money
through opaque contracts in which crude oil
worth billions of dollars is given to traders in
exchange for refined imports, mainly
gasoline, international and domestic
watchdogs have said.
The EFCC and domestic intelligence service
DSS began the investigation last month. A
spokesman for the EFCC said he was unable
to comment for the moment and the DSS did
not respond to requests for comment.
A security source with knowledge of the
matter said the DSS wanted to find out how
the value of the crude and products was
computed.
"It appears that the value of the crude was
more than the value of the refined imported,"
the security source said.
The contracts, known as offshore processing
agreements (OPAs) are between Pipelines
and Product Marketing Co (PPMC), a
subsidiary of state-run Nigerian National
Petroleum Corp (NNPC) and three oil trading
companies: Sahara Group, Aiteo and Duke
Oil, the trading subsidiary of NNPC.
Expired contracts with Swiss trader Trafigura,
Taleveras, Ontario Oil and Gas are also being
examined, the sources said.
The PPMC head was among the NNPC and
company officials called in the investigating
agencies in the past two weeks to answer
questions about the agreements, the NNPC
sources said.
"It started about two weeks ago...he was
called in to the DSS everyday since Thursday
and before that by the EFCC," one senior
official at the company said.
A statement from the NNPC said some of its
officials were invited by the agencies "to shed
light" on the contracts and that none had
been detained or arrested as part of this
investigation.
The Nigerian Extractive Industries
Transparency Initiative has said there was a
revenue loss of at least $600 million due to a
discrepancy between the value of the crude
and the products delivered. The figure was
taken from its 2009-2011 and 2012 audits of
the oil and gas industry, the latest was
released this year.
Some contract-holders have said that the
discrepancies in value were reconciled.
JUSTIFIED
Sahara, which receives 90,000 barrels per
day for processing through an agreement
with the Societe Ivorienne de Raffinage (SIR),
said it was invited to the EFCC and submitted
information to show that its contract was
justified.
Aiteo, which also has a 90,000 bpd contract,
could not be reached for comment. There was
no response to a Reuters email and no
telephone details were given on its website.
Duke Oil, an NNPC subsidiary, which has a
30,000 bpd contract, could also not be
reached for comment. The listed phone
number led to NNPC and it did not respond to
an email.
A spokesman for Taleveras, that held a crude
swaps contract between 2011 and December
2014 via Duke Oil, said that the company did
not owe any money and it would deliver
gasoline until June this year to balance out
what it received in crude.
A spokesman for Trafigura said that the EFCC
had requested information about their swap
contract and it was provided by the company
in the past month. Trafigura held a Refined
Products Exchange Agreement, or swap
contract, between Oct. 2010 and Dec. 2014.
"Despite Trafigura facing extensive logistical
challenges in delivering refined product into
Nigeria...delivery would typically precede the
corresponding swap of crude oil by an order
of weeks - sometimes months," the
spokesman said.
"This reality led to ongoing supply
imbalances...and ultimately reconciled, every
two months over the duration of the term."
Nigeria relies on imports for the bulk of its
domestic gasoline demand, which is met by
gasoline coming via the crude exchanges
and through a subsidy scheme that was at
the root of acute fuel shortages at the end of
May.

Buhari came into power on an anti-
corruption platform and the EFCC is keen
show it has teeth. Right after Buhari's
inauguration on May 29, six central bankers
and 16 commercial bank staff were accused
of currency fraud by the EFCC, the agency
said.
The EFCC has investigated various oil
scandals in the recent past, namely a fuel
subsidy fraud costing the government $6.8
billion between 2009-2011. But due to a lack
of political will from the top, only a handful
were prosecuted with little result.
