An Air Algerie flight that had taken off
from Burkina Faso's capital
Ouagadougou has lost contact ...
According to AFP,Air traffic controllers
lost contact with the plane at 0155 GMT,
50 minutes after it took to the skies...
The company said in a notice posted on
its website that the aircraft took off
from Burkina Faso at 0117 local time
and was supposed to land in Algiers at
0510 local time but never reached its
destination.
AFP reported that the missing aircraft
was a DC-9, which can seat up to 135
passengers but 110 people are reported
to be on board
