Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji carries weight in
the entertainment industry in Africa, Nigeria in
particular and because of this, many people want to
be associated with the acclaimed ‘queen of
Nollywood’.
Ask D’Banj, he will confess that the decision to use
this Imo State-born actress in his ‘Fall In Love’ music
video some years ago eventually paid off.
The controversial kiss between the ‘Kokomaster’ and
Genevieve gave rise to the rumored romantic
relationship between the two stars. Even till today,
the tale has refused to die down. Recently, it was
reported that D’Banj confessed that he neither had
crush on the movie star nor dated her as it was being
widely rumored.
Also recall that some time ago, Wizkid said in an
interview that he admires Genevieve, which was well
feasted on by the media. For Orezi, he is just getting
to know what fame is all about in the practical sense.
Just when he was about to shoot his ‘Rihanna’ music
video, it was speculated that he would feature the
America-based music star from Barbados, but he
featured a look-alike of the former Miss Barbados in
the music video. The fast-rising singer yelled that
Genevieve is too big for him to have crush on.
Orezi was reacting to a question we put to him on his
celebrity crush.
He confessed that he has many of them, but
disclosed that it is definitely not Genevieve, who is a
big act in the showbiz industry. “Genevieve no be for
us (Genevieve is not for us), but in the real sense, I
love Genevieve, I admire her a lot,” he said
