Nigeria Police Arrests Dog For Enhancing Misbehavior

Unconventional news about Dogs seems to be
the order of the day in Calabar, Cross-River
State, but even at that this latest development
caught us off guard.
A middle aged man called the attention of men of
the Nigerian police Force to his premises this
morning and to the surprise of many, the solemn
aim was to get his neighbour’s dog arrested According to the man, who introduced himself as
Nsikan, “my neighbour Akpan is a good man, but
Akpan’s Dog befriended my dog and from that
day, my dog started thiefeth” he went further to
explain: “my small dog now lives large in my
own compound, he no longer eats remnants,
hardly eats from the house and feels too big to
answer me – his owner, when I call or beckon”
We cannot tell if Mr Nsikan is pained by
the bossy nature of his household dog or he
sincerely cares about the morals of his dog and
the properties of his neighbours but passersby
disclosed that the said Akpan’s Dog is seen as
the “Area father” of most Dogs in the vicinity.
And these dogs usually pay homage to him. One
cannot help but wonder how domestic animals
could create such a clique, influence each other
and carry out plans to steal from unsuspecting
victims As at the time of this report, the Police has
taken both Dogs to the police station for
questioning, before an official investigation will
be carried out. even as they call on the public to
avail them of any useful information concerning
this mystery.
